Manidoo Miiniigooizowin, A Gift from the Creator

The exhibit celebrates the beauty and resilience of the Anishinaabe and Dakota peoples, and commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO).
At the top, the iconic Pink Floyd triangle logo with the number 50 inlaid. In the centre of the 0 is a rainbow. Directly above the logo text reads, “Pink Floyd / The Dark Side of the Moon”. Below the prism is a heartbeat line and “50 years in a heartbeat”.

This program explores parenting throughout time on Turtle Island, with an in-depth look at parenting and birthing practises, coming-of age-ceremonies, and how traditional Indigenous parenting is being revitalized.
