Learn how to make your own pair of beaded gauntlet mittens in our upcoming three-day workshop with artist Gloria Beckman. At this in-person, socially distanced workshop, participants will learn the art of designing, beading, and sewing their very own fur-trimmed gauntlets. Gauntlets are a longer style of mitten that go over the top of the cuff of your coat. During an artifact showcase and talk by Dr. Amelia Fay, Curator of the HBC Collection, you will have a chance to see some of the Manitoba Museum s collection of gauntlets, mittens, and gloves
